SUPERBOWL: Crypto advert round up

February 15, 2022 0 By Mags Smith

If Sunday’s Superbowl ads are any indication, then Crypto has truly gone mainstream. So many blockchain commercials flooded the ad breaks that some are even referring to it as the Crypto Bowl.

The game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams, was estimated to bring in a viewing audience of around 117 million, making it one of the most viewed of all time. The Rams took top spot with a nail-biting 23-20 win over Bengal’s but I digress. Cryptocurrency exchanges forked out a whopping $6.5 million for 30-second ad slots during the 2022 Superbowl. Crypto.com, FTX Trading, and eToro flooded the screens during half time; featuring A-list celebs like Larry David, LeBron James, Matt Damon, and a QR code that crashed Coinbase’s website within minutes. If you didn’t catch the game you can still catch the adverts here:
